Alexander McQueen: Alien Extravaganza

Alexander McQueen F/W '12/'13 Collection : The whole collection presented at Paris Fashion Week

Speechless.. I can't find my words to describe Alexander McQueen F/W '12/'13 Collection, but i try to do it
This collection is not digestible for some.
In a purely futuristic direction this collection stirs imagination. Sarah Burton looks toward future and she perpetuates brand's inimitable lines.
We can see in the collection feathers with fur, metallic inserts, high shoes without heels and wonderful colors.
Every outfits seems to be unwearable and very proper for an unidentified alien, but beautiful for an extravaganza woman. I already choose one. Which outfit you'll choose?
I could say that I find proper words for this fascinating Alexander McQueen Collection as: lush, limitless, alien, varying, stunning.
......... And this is my personal opinion.

Balenciaga High-Tech Jackets

Balenciaga, the french fashion house one of my favorits brands continue to amaze me.
From Balenciaga Fashion Show F/W '12/'13 presented at Paris Fashion Week caught my attention the high-tech print jackets.
These gathered waist jackets with wide sleeves looking like "sweaters" have on futuristic-retro prints.
I say retro because these prints are like heavy metall rock T-shirt in the '90, but the theme of the prints is apocalyptic one with a messiah child coming from the future. These high-tech print jackets are a real SUCCESS.

Awesome Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana Show for F/W '12/'13 at the Milan Fashion Week was absolutly fantastic.
The whole fashion show was like a return in art history in Leonardo da Vinci 's or Raffael's time.
So let me tell the story ..... Once upon a time .............. There was a widow or maybe a bride countess ...
Between black, gold and white the all silouhettes have succeded like a lesson of Renaissance in a gold frame. The outfits are reachly decorated with gold embroidery and the "star" material is black velvet and lace.

In the second part of the story for floral outfits another source of inspiration is tapistry with flowers, angels in bright colours ....

The End
